Introducing our Trainer

Averham Racing Syndicates have all their horses stabled and trained with group winning trainer Mr Alan McCabe.
Alan McCabe is a successful race horse trainer and has an impressive CV. First starting his career in National Hunt Racing. Alan has worked for several Racehorse Trainers including David Elsworth for 12 – 13 years  and the International Racehorse group Godolphin for five years including six months with the US team in Dubai. Also he had a good spell with David Loder as head lad and assistant.

Alan now an independent trainer is based in Nottinghamshire at the state of the art racing centre at Averham Park.
With his impressive dedication to horseracing, Alan is a group winning trainer winning the Gimcrack Stakes and Mill Reef Stakes in 2011, and also contested the Breeders Cup Juvenile (Turf) at Churchill Downs.

Aims

Averham Racing Syndicates operate each syndicate with a maximum of twelve shareholders, with the intention of all, achieving a life long dream, and becoming  successful racehorse owners. Our aim is to make racehorse ownership an affordable, enjoyable and carefree experience, while forging new friendships.
